BIOCHAR HEMP SOIL CARBON
Biochar Festival – 19–20 August
Join us for a two-day gathering exploring the role of biochar, hemp and regenerative farming systems. Hosted on a working farm, the festival brings together farmers, engineers, researchers and industry professionals interested in practical solutions for soil health, carbon and sustainable agriculture.
Rather than a traditional conference, the event focuses on live demonstrations, field visits and open discussion, giving visitors the chance to see systems operating in a real farming environment.
See Biochar in Action
Throughout the event a range of biochar systems will be running and discussed, from smaller experimental setups to commercial-scale equipment. Visitors will be able to see how these systems operate, explore different feedstocks and learn how projects can scale from farm use to larger installations.
Farming & Hemp Trials
The festival takes place on a farm where hemp is grown alongside long-term biochar soil trials. Visitors will have the opportunity to walk the crops, explore how biochar integrates into farming systems, and learn more about the ongoing research taking place on site.

A Weekend to Connect
Free camping is included with your ticket, helping create a relaxed and collaborative atmosphere across the weekend. An informal evening social will also take place on the first day, giving attendees the opportunity to meet others working across biochar, farming and regenerative agriculture.
